Data Management Solutions

ENLAR is focused on providing data management solutions. We assist you in identifying your data management needs, developing data collection forms, installing any required software and training your employees to utilize the system.

ENLAR has partnered with the leaders in software and hardware to offer its clients the latest in data management solutions. By using personal digital assistants (PDA) we can solve your data entry problems and provide a complete solution for record keeping and database management.

The personal digital assistant (PDA) is capable of using wireless transmitters, infrared communication and bar code readers. They are light-weight, easy to use and make an excellent choice for data collection applications.

ENLAR works with you to develop custom data collection forms to make entry of data a snap. In addition, once the data is entered into the PDA unit, it can be downloaded directly into Windows programs such as Access and Excel for further analysis. You will no longer need to have someone re-enter information from paper forms into your computer system in order to develop reports and spot trends.

Simplify your Documentation … Simplify your Life

What is “paperless” data collection?

“Paperless” data entry occurs whenever you enter information directly into a computer system without first recording it to paper.

This works great for information you can conveniently enter while sitting at your desk in front of your computer keyboard. It does not work as well for data you collect in the field - on a manufacturing line, in a warehouse or 20 feet up a discharge stack.

For field data most people still rely on “paper and pencil” collection, typically on some sort of paper form, with subsequent manual entry into a computer system.

How can PDA devices make “paperless” data entry work for me?

The current computer revolution is all about putting computer technology into your hands 24/7. The device that accomplishes this is the PDA - personal digital assistant. PDA’s have become full-featured computers you can carry in your pocket. They allow you to control your time, read a novel, manage your finances and even monitor your heart function to prevent a heart attack.

Because of their improved capabilities and small size, PDAs can be used for efficient collection of field data. Using ENLAR software solutions, you can collect data without using pen and paper. The information is directly entered into an “electronic form” in the PDA. This information is then electronically downloaded into your desktop computer when you get back to your office.

ENLAR software solutions save you time and money.

By allowing you to directly download information from the PDA to your desktop system, transcribing paper forms becomes a thing of the past. No more forms to copy, no more forms to decipher, no more stacks of paperwork awaiting data entry.

Finally, as if all of these advantages are not enough, ENLAR software is also very cost effective. A basic system - including PDA and software is less than $1,600.

ENLAR makes sure the system works for you ... rather than you working for the system!
